Our Larger Family

New Wine is part of a larger denomination known as The Evangelical Covenant Church of Canada.

We are living into the kingdom of God through the prayerful, intergenerational, multiethnic, growing movement of churches served by women and men striving to follow in the way of Jesus by loving others as Jesus loves us.

The core beliefs of the ECCC are summed up in 6 affirmations:

1. We affirm the centrality of the word of God.

2. We affirm the necessity of new birth.

3. We affirm a conscious dependence on the Holy Spirit.

4. We affirm a commitment to the whole mission of the church.

5. We affirm the church as a fellowship of believers.

6. We affirm the reality of freedom in Christ.
